There is something strangely therapeutic about picking a lock that is akin to a stress ball which is perfect for when I am debugging code.

My brother found this lock on his way home from work a few months ago. It was rusted pretty badly but the pins and core were mostly in good shape. He did not find the key for the lock. I spent a few hours over the past few months to get the core to turn and pick it.

I was at my desk reviewing some log files and finally got the lock to open! Most people do not know this about me but I always carry a lock pick set either in my back pocket or backpack at all times with a few locks tossed in for good measure. During office BS sessions we’d all gather in an office and pick through the locksKeith I Myers – 2016-04-05 23:40:23-0400+Chris Pugrud that is actually a good idea
