Keith I Myers – 2016-03-15 10:29:46-0400 – Updated: 2016-03-15 10:29:46-0400I am really enjoying my (aftermarket) Android Auto. I am not ready to get a new car just yet but when I do, and Android Auto unit would be a requirement. Originally shared by SuitsandTechLooking to get Android Auto in your next car, or your current? Though I would like Google to exert just a little more control over the interface. Although car companies cannot modify it, Hyundai seems to have an issue others do not, where you cannot adjust the Maps volume separate from Play Music. I’ve seen people able to do it on Honda.Keith I Myers – 2016-03-15 10:36:58-0400+Patrick Campanale – I have the Kenwood DDX9902s – http://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-eXcelon-DDX9902S-Multimedia-Receiver/dp/B00XK5GC2M/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1458052552&sr=8-1&keywords=Kenwood+DDX9902s&linkCode=ll1&tag=lz0d6-20&linkId=3a13f9adbca8c0b5f43c916ff8199ed0Keith I Myers – 2016-03-15 10:37:33-0400+NATF XDA – Hmm, I cannot seem to adjust the volumes independently on my unit, I will need to look into thatVito Vizziato – 2016-03-15 11:00:27-0400How much? Patrick Campanale – 2016-03-15 11:01:03-0400Looks like a nice unit, though not sure I’m ready to drop that much on one haha. I’m waiting for the new JBL or Pioneer units to drop that aren’t super expensive. Keith I Myers – 2016-03-15 11:09:55-0400+Vito Vizziato – In my case, the Radio cost me $750 + $60 for the Steering Wheel Controls + $100 for the installation. It was not an inexpensive purchase by any means but I am very happy with it right now.
+Patrick Campanale – I currently have no regrets with this unit as the screen is a bit bigger and this unit has a few other features that could help to justify the pricing a bit. It also has a DVD player and HDMI input. The DVD player will likely never see any use but the HDMI input may be useful as I may install a Raspberry Pi in there. Jason Lukaszewski – 2016-03-15 11:21:00-0400+Keith I Myers pssst a little birdy told me you can add the 2017 Acura NSX to the list becuase it’s stock OS is Andriod, with Apple Car Play app designed on Andriod, and of course Andriod Auto.
