20160219 Hey Everyone I Just Got Off The Phone

There is no ETA but I was assured that the issue is being worked on. At least the lady I spoke to was greatNATF XDA – 2016-02-19 18:53:29-0500+Keith I Myers Did they mention which areas may be impacted? I noticed that a few calls I made/received in the last hour was dropping from LTE to H and not being able to hear if connected.Keith I Myers – 2016-02-19 18:54:54-0500+NATF XDA – She said multiple areas from Miami to Washington. Safe to say it is nationwide (but not impacting all customers). You are seeing some of the issues I had. Chris Vukin – 2016-02-19 18:55:12-0500They have more than outage issues, they’ve been draining all my data when I use BingeOn and music freedom services too, and they are taking hours to get anywhere. Worst customer service ever. Keith I Myers – 2016-02-19 18:56:33-0500+Chris Vukin – I have not had that happen. Mind if I ask what plan you are on?NATF XDA – 2016-02-19 18:58:35-0500+Keith I Myers Thanks for the tip!Chris Vukin – 2016-02-19 19:10:25-0500I’m on a grandfathered unlimited w 7gb hotspot on my phone, then I have two data match plans at 5gb, one is the zte hotspot and the other is an iPad Air.. It was working and then yesterday blew almost 3gb from my phone hotspot and today almost 2gb on the zte after being on Twitter hassling w support for 4plus hours last night and support assuring me that they had things fixed on their end.. Crazy thing is the app on my phone and the web interface always said that BingeOn was enabled on all my devices.. I’m pretty pissed, moved two lines to att last month and getting ready to visit them to switch the three remaining.Keith I Myers – 2016-02-19 19:13:05-0500+Chris Vukin – I did upgrade to the plan with 14 GB hotspots and have the data match on a hotspot and Nvidia Shield LTE. Let me test Netflix to see if it blows through the datas on the tablet. I know it is not on my phone. Chris Vukin – 2016-02-19 19:25:08-0500That’d be great to hear about +Keith I Myers Shel Fulmer – 2016-02-19 20:02:32-0500+Keith I Myers do you have any Android devices that support WiFi calling? (If so, does that work for you right now?). And Binge On only bills as such if you allow T-Mobile to set the video streams to a LOWER quality image. So if you happen to be used to watching/streaming as high of a video format as your big, beautiful, phone screen can handle, Binge On isn’t what you’re looking for.
Its still a reasonable quality mind you, but its not the best. Keith I Myers – 2016-02-20 00:16:20-0500+Chris Vukin – I just watched a bit over an hour of Netflix for “research” purposes. My total data usage displayed on the T-Mobile website for this month went unchanged (46.1 MB) while the data useage in Android showed that I have used 546 MB on Netflix alone.

Just to confirm, my tablet is on the “5GB Match Phone Data up to 5GB” plan for $10.00 per monthKeith I Myers – 2016-02-20 00:20:50-0500+Shel Fulmer I honestly rarely use WiFi calling as I have great service in my area. I have used it in the past on my Nexus 6 while traveling. I will turn it on and report back at a later time (I am now using the Nexus 6P)Keith I Myers – 2016-02-20 01:17:40-0500+Shel Fulmer – yes it does work on the 6P, it is just not something I normally have turned onChris Vukin – 2016-02-20 08:24:43-0500Thanks +Keith I Myers, I’m still being debited.. Hopefully they will have it fixed today.. Ah.. Yeah.

Is your voice service back up?Shawn Latham – 2016-02-20 14:18:07-0500I turned off my volte and voice is now working. I am guessing they did some update and messed up the volte. Chris Vukin – 2016-02-20 15:32:16-0500That’s hilarious as the ceo was so upset that root metrics had that off when they were testingNATF XDA – 2016-02-20 21:03:17-0500Still having sporadic issues on an iPhone with VoLTE, calls taking up to 30 seconds to connect, but WiFi Calling is fine.Shawn Latham – 2016-02-20 21:36:20-0500Volte is still down, my v10 is kicking over to 4g when going to calls so at least voice is working. Nahian C. – 2016-02-21 13:46:03-0500Just turn off your LTE and WiFi calling feature for the time being.
