Shared to the community Pixel C – Public+1’d by: Cephas Koh, Doug Keller, Marty BallardKeith I Myers – 2015-12-26 20:35:47-0500+landerx74 – It is now in a boot loop, contacting Google’s support nowMarty Ballard – 2015-12-26 21:01:19-0500No I haven’t had that happen. I’ve rebooted a few times now.Keith I Myers – 2015-12-26 21:05:01-0500I am downloading the Factory images in case Google wants me to go down that path. I will keep you all updated with what happens. Marty Ballard – 2015-12-26 21:15:44-0500Did you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3268551Keith I Myers – 2015-12-26 21:17:35-0500+Marty Ballard – Nope, Never even entered Fastboot or Recovery on this unitLukasz Luszcz – 2015-12-27 01:02:38-0500+Keith I Myers same thing happened to me. Google sending me a replacement.. I think when I get it I’ll unlock bootloader so it never happens again. It’s some bs!!Keith I Myers – 2015-12-27 01:05:58-0500+Lukasz Luszcz you are the 2nd person who said this happened. Can I ask you 3 questions to try to determine if there is a trend.
1)Did you have the 32 GB or 64 GB version?
2)When did you purchase yours?
3)What happened to lead up to your tablet failing?Lukasz Luszcz – 2015-12-27 01:08:50-05001) 64gb 2) Dec 8 delivered Dec 9 3) left it on Sunday turned on but standby in a drawer. Came back home 4 days later pressed the power button… And this happened.

On a side note after trying to find some news on this I’ve read somewhere not to click reset tablet.. Rather just turn it off and then everything will be OK.Lukasz Luszcz – 2015-12-27 01:11:32-0500+Keith I Myers could me that the update installed itself while I was gone but highly doubt it.. Here’s the source to not resetting but powering it off. https://productforums.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/nexus/m_0IN6f8N3o

I know nexus 7 but its same Thing Keith I Myers – 2015-12-27 01:17:00-0500+Lukasz Luszcz it seems we have a few things in common (the size and date). The other person had the 32 GB. It seems like mine lasted the longest at 3 weeks before the failure as yours and the other person’s happened within 24 hours after getting it. He ordered the 32 GB version however.

I did try to reboot without the reset and it took me back to the same screen. Lukasz Luszcz – 2015-12-27 10:04:15-0500 – Updated: 2015-12-27 10:07:40-0500+Keith I Myers to say the least thanks to this I was without a pixel for the Christmas :(

Edit..

On a replacement… I called Google right away but I think the specialist hung up on me 🙁 then took it to email they wanted me to take pictures with other phone what is happening so I just recorded them a video and uploaded to YouTube .. Right after sending them a video they sent me rma label. Still waiting to have replacement shipped .. Once I get it I’ll send the broken one in the same box Lukasz Luszcz – 2016-01-04 11:49:54-0500+Keith I Myers are u unlocking bootloader this time? I did 👍
