Keith I Myers – 2015-12-10 12:18:44-0500 – Updated: 2015-12-10 12:18:44-0500At work, I spend a lot of times in meetings and on the phone. It is normal for me to bring a tablet (normally the Nexus 9) to meetings to take notes, review documents and more. This is also the reason I purchased the Keyboard Case for the Nexus 9 and the Pixel C. I swapped my Nexus 9 with the Pixel C and am so far very happy.
Unlike the Nexus 9’s Keyboard Case, The one on the Pixel C is amazing. It is not nearly as cramped with ample spacing between the keys. It does take a little getting used to but so far so good.
The best part so far is the battery. The Nexus 9’s 6,700 mAh battery was not horrible but I would find myself plugging for a charge at least once in the middle of the day when I am in all day meetings. The Nexus 9 had no quick charge so an hour of charging did not do a whole lot. The Pixel C on the other hand has a massive 9,000 mAh battery. Google says that it should last for around 10 hours of use and I feel that this number is fair. I think this may be the first time in a long time that I feel that I can keep the charger in my backpack. I will be getting a few extra chargers throughout the next few weeks to keep at my desk in case I need it.

Happy to hear you like the Pixel C. Looking forward to a Pixel Phone…
What do you use for taking notes on Android?Keith I Myers – 2015-12-10 13:04:57-0500+Philip Sieder – I use OwnNote for OwnCloud for note taking. I will be picking up a few PD chargers within the next few weeks. Philip Sieder – 2015-12-10 13:06:37-0500I would love to buy one to (for use with my Nexus 5X and to be futureproof for my next Laptop…)
But here in Germany I have only found the Apple Charger so far -.-Keith I Myers – 2015-12-10 13:09:26-0500Yes +Philip Sieder , they are not so common here as well with the exception of the Apple one. You cannot yet walk into a store and buy many USB Type-C accessories. I went to a BestBuy last night and could only get a USB Type-C OTG cable. I will need to resort to getting things online. Philip Sieder – 2015-12-10 13:12:16-0500+Keith I Myers Not even this is possible for us.. (at least without an import)
You could simply get the Chromebook Pixel charger for exampleKeith I Myers – 2015-12-10 13:13:34-0500+Philip Sieder – There are no stores in a 300 mile radius that sell the Chromebook Pixel. I live in a large city (Miami). Philip Sieder – 2015-12-10 13:16:26-0500+Keith I Myers I was referring to buying it online, as even this is not possible here.
And at least in Germany buying electronics online is way cheaper than in store.
