I backed the coin credit card and still haven’t received it and the Omate smart watch that took me forever to get and then when I got it didn’t live up to the hype. Couldn’t even Bluetooth tether it to my phone so I sold it luckily and didn’t lose money. It is essentially a standalone computer running Android that you connect a Keyboard, Monitor and Mouse for a low cost desktop computer. Unlike other Android machines, this one runs apps “windowed” which feels more at home for the desktop.
I have only backed 2 products on Kickstarted and none have been a complete flop. One was an Android Homescreen Launcher that showed some promise and I used it until the Google Now Launcher came out.
