Calling Tim Cook a hypocrite with regards to operating in another country that’s under Sharia Law is completely irrelevant with regards to a state in the company’s home country. If change cannot be made within Apple’s own nation then how can they expect to change the view of an entire sovereign country?
The people disputing this and bringing up the fact of Chinese labor probably aren’t even aware that a majority of the equipment they’re using (computers, webcams, etc.) to bash Apple/Cook was made by laborers operating under the exact same conditions if not worse. Talk about hypocritical!
“His Chinese people” – I believe she meant “Foxconn’s employees.” Apple doesn’t wholly own Foxconn, and Foxconn just happens to supply these other companies in addition to Apple:
