I can honestly say that the expectation that Google Glass was a “Beta”/”Prototype” was made very clear to us. I never got the impression that Glass was a final product. 

Just because a few explorers failed to understand this, it does not mean that it is the voice of all explorers.

Still use mine everyday, even though I may not post up things from Glass everyday. Even when new users where purchasing from the store I am sure Google made those people understand that it was still being developed.

I have not encountered a single person that didn’t desperately want one of their own.

I suppose maybe it’s like the Edsel which it’s my understanding was an above average vehicle in every respect and truly exceptional in some areas. But some fucktard in the press made a nasty joke about its trademark ox collar grill and the whole company went down the tubes.
