20150122 I Have A Tough Decision That I Am Strug

I love the Z Ultra GPE as it runs fast and I love the massive screen. I also love having a Micro SD Slot as I love to keep a large amount of music and audio podcasts with me at all time. I also love having a phone that is Water Proof and am not afraid of large screens (it has a 6.4 inch 1080p display). The problems I have are that its camera is practically useless when it works (and if you choose to unlock the bootloader, it pretty much bricks the camera).

The Nexus 6 seems like a great upgrade (sans the lack of “official” waterproofing and the lack of a MicroSD Card).

What would you do?I have a touch decision that I am struggling with. I currently use the Sony Z Ultra Google Play Edition as my primary driver but have been giving some serious thought to getting a Nexus 6 to replace it.

I’m stuck with my HTC One (M8) GPE currently. Jesus Suarez – 2015-01-22 17:18:22-0500How about Samsung note 4 ?Adam Outler – 2015-01-22 17:20:49-0500That device is all Samsung’d. Friends don’t let friends use a Samsung. Keith I Myers – 2015-01-22 17:22:31-0500+Adam Outler – As the Google Play Edition Program seems to be dead, I fear for future updates.

+Jesus Suarez – I cant stand TouchWiz and Bloat. I also want on-screen buttons and timely updates.Court Mejias – 2015-01-22 17:24:29-0500Love my Nexus 6. Screen is the best size. And I’m not worried to much about waterproofing. The nano coating is good enough for me. What makes me really love my N6 is the big screen and the front facing speakers to complement it.Keith I Myers – 2015-01-22 17:27:33-0500+Court Mejias – Thanks for reminding me, the Speaker (yes, one speaker) on the Z Ultra is disappointing. Due to the waterproofing membrane, it is muffled and almost impossible to use to watch a Netflix VideoCourt Mejias – 2015-01-22 17:29:09-0500+Keith I Myers the speakers on the N6 are so good I can’t use them at full volume sometimes cause there too loudDet Ansinn – 2015-01-22 18:03:40-0500Note 4. Worth it for Gear VR. Multi-window makes for a better big screen phone. Wacom stylus is dreamy.Christopher Rotolo – 2015-01-22 21:42:27-0500Sony needs to release a Z ultra 2 refresh, soon. Keith I Myers – 2015-01-22 21:44:52-0500+Christopher Rotolo I agree but I dont see a GPE edition being in the picture
