20140731 I Am Sorry, But I Need To Call Bullsh#

Keith I MyersKeith I Myers2014-07-31 20:36:47-0400 – Updated: 2014-07-31 20:36:47-0400I am sorry, but I need to call “bullsh#!t” on this story for the following reasons.

I can buy that a thief can steal someone’s +Google Glass but I highly doubt that the thief was also smart enough to steal and run off with the persons mobile phone as well. If so, it makes more sense to use the MyGlass locate function then to record from the camera.

The battery would have been dead long before the lunch scene.

Although not impossible to do without a factory reset, the easiest way to pair Glass with a new phone/wifi hotspot without being logged into MyGlass would  be to factory reset the thing, therefore removing the recording application. (I know that there are ways to generate a WiFi QR code outside of MyGlass)

Oh… and it is Yahoo, they are almost in direct competition with The Onion.

I personally believe that this is a ploy by the developers of the “LiveLense” application to try to drum up some publicity.

Watch this idiot steal Google Glass and then go to a rave without realizing he’s being recorded the whole time
