Mark Railton – 2014-05-29 03:31:03-0400that sucks, I could fill up my old jeep for $32, gotta love living in UAEMatthew Dockrey – 2014-05-29 14:46:03-0400It’s almost like basing an entire civilization on a finite resource kept miles beneath the ground in politically unstable parts of the world was a bad idea. Welp, too late now.Denis Dooley – 2014-05-29 16:14:53-0400Too late? Nonsense. Although both continue on at some level, we once based entire civilizations on slave labor, then replaced it with steam power generated by burning coal. They both became economically unsupportable at their former global scales and were replaced. The higher the prices will merely move us on down the road to the next basis of an entire civilization – but no promises that the transition will be smooth.
