Fred Phelps was a monster and the best way to punish him would simply forget about him and his teachings. He was a cruel and miserable old man.

Of course if someone were to build the “Fred Phelps Memorial Outhouse” over his grave, I will reserve my spot in line behind the other thousands of people who would flock to get their turn.
