Wow, my new replacement +Google Glass is still running XE4… Time to let it charge and update.

Most of that time was spent on the shipment of Glass back to Google (the return package is 5 day air). In my case, I cut out a few days by getting permission to overnight them at my expense.
So it did cost me ~$85.00 to expedite this with FedEx.
It is hard to be without my electronic brain for 1 day, yet alone several. I also am supposed to do a demo this week with a small group so I needed to get it done quickly or I would have had to reschedule the event. The “processing” part after they received it took over a week. Basically defeated the purpose of me arranging for a next day shipping label.

My first one’s backlight just stopped working and my last one tried to give me laser eye surgery. I think the first one may have been due to sweat but I have no idea what triggered the reaction on the 2nd. We knew what we were getting ourselves into when we joined the explorer program.
