20130812 I Wanted To Share My Thoughts About Loc

The important question to ask is “How does it work?” Essentially your android lockscreen is replaced by an advertisement for a product or service. Swiping the bottom bar to the left allows you to view the ad and swiping to the right simply unlocks your phone. You get PAID a whole penny every time you unlock your phone, for me that’s between 30 and 60 times per day (which can add up). There is a cap to the number of times you can earn money per hour.

With all the hype lately, I decided to give it a try, expecting to be disappointed or be looking for the uninstall button within the hour. It actually did not bother me as much as I thought it would. In my case, it had no impact on my normal workflow.

You can cash out via PayPal when you earn more then $10.00.

You can also earn money by inviting others to sign up for the service via a referral URL, in my case it is

If you DO NOT like it, you can uninstall it in seconds via Android’s uninstall tool. It also does not place ads in your notification tray or any other part of Android.
