20130628 Well, I Was Holding Out Hope That Glass

Keith I MyersKeith I Myers2013-06-28 10:05:03-0400 – Updated: 2013-06-28 10:05:03-0400Well, I was holding out hope that Glass would start supporting GApps prior to my pickup date but as I am scheduled to be at Google in exactly 25 hours, I guess it is time to transition.

I have shared my circles privately to my new account from my old account and am in the process of importing everything. If I have not added you back, you can add me manually at http://plus.kmyers.me . My new profile is “Keith I Myers” vs “Keith Myers” so you don’t get confused. I have a lot of DMs from several members of this community and will be responding to them over the next few days.

I will be moving my Google Voice in a few hours but there is honestly no rush there.

See you guys in New York tomorrow if you are in town.

Looks like you and I are the only ones with the issue.Keith I Myers – 2013-06-28 12:00:21-0400+Brian Shea – While I normally would not migrate everything over, I do tend to use Hangouts quite a bit and would like to use them on Glass. Steven Groves – 2013-06-28 13:33:18-0400The #GlassSupport people suggest that I just needed to open a Gmail.com account, and that “…you should be able to easily add all of the Google+ contacts that you had in your @StevenGroves account (and they’ll see that you’ve added them and will be able to add you back).”

Really?  Of the hundred of people I follow / follow me we just need to add, re-add one another?  That’s the best solution they have so far?

Solution seems to be lacking something here…Keith I Myers – 2013-06-28 13:58:12-0400+Brian Shea – It supports up to 10 contacts and 10 circles. Fortunately it was fairly painless to migrate my circles and about %20 of the people who were in my previous circles have re-added me. I am still keeping my GApps account just moving some things over.
